Key Features
Security
- IP in Motion – SECURE provides a direct, private connection between the mobile user or remote office and your network providing unparalleled security.
- Dual user authentication and authorization is required. This authentication process gives your company complete control over user and remote access.
- Static routing ensures data is only routed between your employees’ mobile device or remote offices and your company’s network.
- With the SECURE option, you can add an end-to-end encryption solution for additional security.
- The Internet solution uses the IPSec protocol to establish a tunnel between the mobile user and your company’s network.
Bandwidth Optimization
The wireless network is optimized for improved bandwidth with connections up to a maximum speed of 3Mbps. The 3G-network averages 600K to 1.54Mbps and is capable of transmitting speeds of up to 3Mbps.
IP in Motion Connection Manager Software (IPCMS)
IPCMS supports three user authentication modes:
- User name and password are stored so user does not need to log in for each connection
- User name is stored but user must enter password for each connection
- User must enter user name and password for each connection
IPCMS has been customized to allow a one-time setup of TCP/IP networks settings (e.g., DNS, WINS).
IPCMS Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, 2000 and XP as well as Pocket PC and Pocket PC 2002.
