ATM Network Fabric

At the heart of each of IDC Global Networks' network technology solutions is our proprietary ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) Network Fabric. This network fabric is one of IDC Global Networks' key differentiators and is fundamental to the Quality Of Service and high availability provided to IDC Global Networks customers.

Currently this core fabric is directly connected to seven different carrier networks and has the capability to utilize 45 additional domestic and international network providers through the Carrier Hotel that houses the IDC Global Internet Data Center and Colocation facility. Through its proprietary network design, IDC Global Networks, is able to combine disparate broadband technologies and multiple vendors and offer each customer a single data aggregation circuit and a comprehensive, seamless solution. This single point of aggregation, utilizing ATM technology, ensures maximum network efficiency.
