President and Founder

Jan Daiker, BS has worked in the Information Systems industry for the past 35 years including stints with Fortune 1000 firms such as Time, Inc. (now AOL Time Warner), Household Merchandising, Newark Electronics, and Frank’s Nursery and Crafts with responsibility for “turning around” entire departments and organizations. Jan has held executive level positions in Information Systems, Marketing and Sales, and, Distribution and Operations. Jan has been instrumental in the start up and development of several high tech and telecommunications businesses. He holds a BS and postgraduate study in Marketing from Governors State University.

Chief Technologist and Founder

Earl M. Hellum EE, MS, PhD, PE, CCIE has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years with companies such as Bell Labs, Lytton Industries, and Collins Radio responsible for the design and support for such systems as central office switching gear and ISDN. Prior to IDC Global Networks Networks, Dr. Hellum was the President and owner of Spectrum, a high-end hardware and network engineering organization. He has been responsible for the design and construction of IDC Global Networks’ Internet Exchange Facility and its proprietary data switching fabric. Dr. Hellum holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, an MS degree in Biomedical Engineering from Stanford and a PhD degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology. He has been named on 38 patents in the telecommunications and video industry.

Chairman of the Board

Marc Lyerly, BS, MS, CPA has worked in the computer industry for the last 30 years with IBM, IIT Research Institute, Unisys, Andersen Consulting and a number of other firms. Since the early 80’s he has either founded or help develop four different business entities including MasterChart, Inc., which was sold to Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (NASDAQ: MDRX) in May 2000. Marc holds a BS in Physics from the University of Maryland and an MS in Industrial Administration from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
